
Prof. Edda Moser is one of the most renowned opera and concert singers of the present day.
Herbert von Karajan brought her to the Metropolitan Opera, where she celebrated her spectacular debut as the Queen of the Night. Since then she has sung at the Metropolitan in new productions of “Die Entführung aus dem Serail”, “Rinaldo” and as Donna Anna in “Don Giovanni”, among others. She not only delights audiences in the world’s great opera houses and festival stages, but also as a soloist in concerts with famous conductors such as Abbado, Bernstein, Böhm, Boulez, von Dohnanyi, Giulini, Haitink, Karajan, Levine, Maazel, Mackerras, Muti and Pritchard. Master classes in Montepulciano, at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and at the Salzburg Festival. In 2006 she founded the Festival of the German Language.
