Prof. Andreas Langenbuch, born in Rothenburg ob der Tauber in 1978, was already a guest student at the Würzburg Conservatory at the age of 14. He completed his studies with Prof. Norbert Kaiser at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart. He repeatedly attended master classes with Prof. Hans Klaus.
He gained his first experience and engagements at the State Theatres in Stuttgart and Karlsruhe and with the BR Symphony Orchestra. After graduating, he was offered a permanent position with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra. In addition to the orchestra, he deepened his studies in the form of concert examinations at the UdK Berlin with Prof. Francois Benda, which he completed “with distinction”. At this university, he led his own class in the artistic main subject from 2010 to 2017.
In 2012 he joined the WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne. In 2017 he received a professorship for clarinet at the Robert Schumann University of Music Düsseldorf and has since been playing the solo clarinet in the Cologne Chamber Orchestra. He performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe and abroad, as well as regularly in Seoul, where he also gives master classes, and in Beijing.
