Piano Concert

The piano recital by Seunghye Lee, a master’s student in Prof. Arnulf von Arnim’s class, will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2027, at 6:00 p.m. in the concert hall at Haus Marteau (Lobensteiner Str. 4, 95192 Lichtenberg).

Tickets are available for 10 euros, or 5 euros for students and people with severe disabilities. A binding online ticket reservation (see below) is required.

Remaining tickets on the day of the concert starting at 4:00 p.m. by calling 09288 6495. Tickets also available at the box office one hour before the concert begins. Free seating.

If reserved tickets are not picked up, they will be billed plus a processing fee.

Seunghye Lee, born in Seoul in 1987, is a Korean pianist. She began playing the piano at the age of three.
She studied at the Korea National University of Arts in South Korea with Chongpil Lim, at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen with Arnulf von Arnim, and at the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf with Paolo Giacometti.
In addition, she attended master classes with Dmitri Bashkirov, Jan Gottlieb Jiracek von Arnim, Yuri Blinov, and Hee-Yeon Choi.
She is a prize winner at numerous national and international competitions. Her awards include First Prize at the Korea Chopin Competition, the RICMAV Soloist Award at the Rotary International Competition Madrid–Velázquez (Spain), and the Grand Prize at the Classic Pure Vienna International Music Competition. In addition, she received the Mazurka Prize and the Polonaise Prize at the Asia Pacific Chopin Competition, as well as the Honorary Prize at the “J. S. Bach in memoriam Walter Blankenheim” International Piano Competition in Würzburg.
She has also been awarded scholarships from the Lions Club Dortmund and the Lions Club Lüdenscheid-Medardus.
She has performed in South Korea, Germany, and Italy. She currently performs regularly in South Korea as both a soloist and a chamber musician, while also dedicating herself to training the next generation of musicians.
