8/27 – Master Class for Bassoon (Dag Jensen)

Interpretation of solo literature and preparation of audition pieces. Instrumental technique basics are also covered. Lessons are taught in German, English, and Norwegian.
To register, please send us your binding repertoire details at least four weeks before the course begins. A maximum of three works may be with piano accompaniment. At least one solo work (or orchestral excerpt, or etude) should be included.
Target group: Students and young people who are planning to study. Please send a detailed resume and a piece of music via video link (e.g., YouTube) with your application.

The Norwegian bassoonist Prof. Dag Jensen has played as solo bassoonist in several important orchestras such as the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the WDR Cologne Symphony Orchestra, Lucerne Festival Orchestra and the Saito Kinen Festival Orchestra.
