The course focuses precisely and in detail on expression, content, phonetics, and style, with special attention to the specific linguistic and cultural challenges faced by Korean singers in Germany. Active participants receive 45–60 minutes of one-on-one instruction daily. Participants are free to choose their repertoire from opera and operetta. A final concert will take place on the last day of the course. Please indicate your study preferences when registering.
This course is specifically designed for Korean singers. Instruction is conducted in Korean, among other languages, and is particularly valuable for students preparing for entrance exams here in Germany, as well as for those already pursuing a degree or working professionally who are seeking instruction in their native language. Thanks to his many years of experience as a conductor, vocal coach, and professor at the Detmold University of Music and the Korean National University of the Arts, Ivan Törzs is uniquely qualified to help Korean singers build a career in Germany.
