36/24 – Master Class for Singing (Woldt)

Master Class for Singing

“Sound and words are brother and sister” is the clever and equalising answer in Richard Strauss’ “Capriccio” to the age-old question of which element dominates vocal music. However, this is not the only area of tension in which people who perform on the opera stage find themselves: Immediate and unadulterated expression must always be balanced with absolute vocal technique requirements – this course is designed to help find a sensible balance here.
