Masterclass for violin by Prof. Draganov

Personal encounter and intensive study week with Prof. Philip A. Draganov.
An intensive master class week offers the ideal framework for getting to know each other or for in-depth work.

Course content:
– Intensive individual lessons with and without accompaniment
– Rehearsals with piano
– Personal consultations
– Opportunity to perform at the final public concert

Lesson contents among others:
– Technical basics
– Questions of interpretation and style
– Sound training
– virtuosity
– Practice strategies and time management
– Self-confidence
– Creativity and stage presence

Due to his training in various European countries and the USA, Philip A. Draganov combines the traditions of the American, Russian and various European violin schools in his teaching method.
Draganov places the holistic personal development of young people at the center of his work and thus offers them important developmental experiences.

Philip A. Draganov is professor of violin at the Bern University of the Arts and also leads the violin class in the PreCollege Music of the Zurich University of the Arts. Since 2010, he has been artistic director of the Swiss International Music Academy of YOUTH CLASSICS.
