This autumn, the district is focusing on Henri Marteau, his music and his time. To mark the 150th birthday of the great violinist, there will be a series of events between September 4 and October 2.

On September 18, 2024, historian Fyona Fugensi M.A. will take a look at Blanche Marteau and her role alongside Henri Marteau.

The lecture will take place online and is free of charge. Participation is possible without registration via Zoom.

The “Haus Marteau auf Reisen” concert by Prof. Ingolf Turban’s violin master class will take place on Friday, 16. May 2025 at 7 pm at the Deutsches Dampflokomotiv Museum, Birkenstraße 5, 95339 Neuenmarkt.
