35/23 – Master Class for Singing (Sonntag)

Teaching Scene Prof. Ulrike Sonntag

Comprehensive work on vocal technique, musical style, expression, interpretation and performance.
The aim is to achieve a free sound, a personal musical interpretation and a convincing stage presence.
Repertoire: prepare at least 4-5 works (arias and/or songs) as desired from the international opera, operetta, oratorio or song repertoire.
The number of active participants is limited to 12. Everyone receives daily lessons. There will be a final concert.

Prof. Ulrike Sonntag
Prof. Ulrike Sonntag first studied school music and German language and literature in Stuttgart, then singing in Romania and at the Berlin University of the Arts. She was a prize-winner at several competitions. While still a student, she made her debut at the Hamburg State Opera and the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
