The master class is aimed at young double bassists from all over the world who are fascinated by this instrument and wish to pursue a career with the double bass.
The objectives of the course are to improve technical skills, develop musical interpretation of solo and chamber music repertoire, prepare for auditions, and prepare for international competitions and double bass ensembles.
The results of the course work will be presented in the final concert.

The final concert of Prof. Dorin Marc’s double bass master class will take place on Friday, November 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the concert hall at Haus Marteau (Lobensteiner Str. 4, 95192 Lichtenberg).

Tickets are available for 10 euros, or 5 euros for students and people with severe disabilities . A binding online ticket reservation (see below) is required.

Remaining tickets on the day of the concert starting at 4:00 p.m. by calling 09288 6495. Tickets available at the box office one hour before the concert begins. Free seating.

If reserved tickets are not picked up, they will be billed plus a processing fee.
