The lecture will be held in German!

This autumn, the district is focusing on Henri Marteau, his music and his time. To mark the 150th birthday of the great violinist, there will be a series of events between September 4 and October 2.

On September 18, 2024, historian Fyona Fugensi M.A. will take a look at Blanche Marteau and her role alongside Henri Marteau.

The lecture will take place online and is free of charge. Participation is possible without registration via Zoom.

Those who would like to get to know the artists’ villa and the spectacular concert hall can register for a free guided tour. The guided tour of Haus Marteau lasts about an hour and tells about the great career of violin virtuoso Henri Marteau, his artist friendships, his work in Lichtenberg and the building history of the house.

Meeting point is Thursday, 24. July 2025 at 6 pm at the entrance door of Haus Marteau, Lobensteiner Straße 4, 95192 Lichtenberg. Registration (see below) is required.
